The original location of Majoria Drugs was in the Old Metaire Shopping Center and only had two aisles and very little warehouse space. The previous owner, Mike Slaughter,  decided to look for a new location due to the growth of the business.  Space became available on Metairie Road and Bonnabel and the new store was built.  After five years the store was expanded to its present size.  Unfortunately, in 1999 Mike Slaughter lost his courageous battle with cancer.  The store was sold by Mike's heirs to Dennis Bodungen who worked for Mike at both locations as a pharmacist.  The store has stayed true to the concept envisioned by Mike Slaughter.  Majoria Drugs is here to serve you and your health care needs.  Our caring staff will go the extra mile to provide you with the best in customer service.  We invite you to come by and visit Majoria Drugs.

At Majoria Drugs our pharmacy staff has over 100 years of combined experience.  Our pharmacist are here to answer any questions you may have regarding your healthcare needs.  In most cases prescriptions are ready in 15 minutes or less.

Because we buy directly from a number of companies, we are able to offer to our customers a large selection of over-the-counter products at discount prices such as health & personal care, vitamins, haircare, skincare, cosmetics, household and more.
